I took Hattchan to the rehab person. I said good by to him... I miss him... I was almost gonna cry in a train on the way to go there. But it's all good for him, right? The rehab person was really nice. I met her yesterday at th vet when I took Toto to the vet. And we spoke about Hattchan with Hattchan's vet (mainly about his not having a tongue). I know her already so I could bring Hattchan without any worries. She said that she is gonna pay attention if he can eat good, variety of corns. If he can eat good and fly good, she will release him into the wild in spring. If he is not eating good, then she is gonna keep him in her rehab station. If he can be released into the wild, that's the best for him, but if not, it is still better for him living in a large aviary than in a small room. He made it up to here. He deserves a happy life!
Toto is as sweet as usual. He was calling when I was adding some food for Hattchan. Did Toto jealous? that's sooo cute!! what's going on?
WHAT'S GOING ON??
Flap Flap Flap.

I hate this freaking hand. Step on it!
Is he getting used to me? Hell no. He accidentally stepped on my hand while I was cleaning up his cage. I didn't think that he even knew that he was stepping on human's hand. He didn't get off. Because of this, I missed my bus.
Toto lost 2 g, but he gained 3 g yesterday (by the way that was the mix weight for him 421g!) So, I guess it's OK. Hattchan gained 10g and it is his max weight, 436g! Giving him hell a lot of food was a big success! I took Hattchan to the vet to check if everything is OK. He is done with his treatment! The vet said since he was putting on his weight & getting this much stronger without formula feeding, he could be released into the wild. He need to practice flying. So I asked her if she knew someone who could let him rehab in a large aviary. She told me that one of her colleague was doing rehab for wild birds and she also took some pigeons. But at this moment, she has lots of pigeons and may not have enough room for Hattchan. She is coming to the vet tomorrow (BTW she is also a vet) so i am supposed to call the vet tomorrow and ask her is she can take Hattchan. I hope it works out. I am sure that Hattchan wants to go out from his small cage asap. Anyhow, I am really happy to know that he can be released in to the wild! When the vet saw Hattchan for the 1st time, she thought he was not gonna make it or, even if he could make it, he wouldn't be able to be released into the wild. I am not so good at German language but I felt what she was saying/thinking. (In Germany they usually put wild animals into sleep if the animals has no chance to be released into the wild even-though, they have chances to live in the captivity.) So I said to her "My supervisor, a prof. in ornithology at an university, wants to have the birds if the bird has no chance to be released into the wild " without thinking about what to do later on. (my supervisor can have wild birds legally. and he told me that I can say such a thing to a vet if I was willing to take care the bird.) Thank good I said it. The vet said I did really good job taking care of him. But I could not have done it by my owen. I really thankful to all these people who gave me kind advices, and who cheered me up all the time. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! I am soooooooooooo happy!!! BTW, Hattchan has less tail feather doesn't he? The vet pulled all broken feathers, to let him have new ones
（I forgot to take Toto's picture today. So Today is... pictures of cute(?) drugs Chlotsm-phenicol-N from Chevita (for Toto), Chevi-col from Chevita (for Hattchan. They changed the package. New one has larger picture) Spartrix from Janssen (saved both Toto & Hattchan's life) And shitty anti bag spray (I bought it for Toto at a pest store. It is written "insect shocker" but it was also a "pigeon shocker" Toto could not eat anything more tha half day after applying this spray on him. I think the smell was the problem. Plus it didn't work well. I have got a new spray from Toto's vet)
Hattchan made good poops during last night. That made my day!! He was eating today as well, but I had a feeling that is jumping around more often than eating... He was jumping around often. Inside of his cage is dim, but he gets excited time to time. If I keep him in completely darkness, he clams down but them he cannot eat... I changed his paper shortly before I let him goes to bed, (He went to bet bit earlier than yesterday. Around 18:00. I wanted to keep him awake bit longer so that he can eat bit more, but he was only jumping and didn't look like he was gonna eat some. So, I let him goes to bed. It's already dark out side, plus, he was awake since the sunrise. It would do, right?) I wanted to check his poops but all the poops were squashed... Only thing I could say was, all the poops were solid. I guess morning is the time for poop check. I should be able to see if he was eating good today from his poops in tomorrow morning. Please make good poops again! (I am not confident about crop feeling. I cannot tell if he was eating good or not by touching his crop. I touched Toto's crop to compare , but still no go.) Finally the picture of Hattchan
Hattchan is back! His canker is getting a lot better, but there is a problem. Hattchan lost his tongue... The vet needed to remove it cuz it was totally dead. She said when she removed it from Hattchan, he didn't bleed at all. (yep. it was dead...) It is not easy to release him into wild... He is eating some corns but there are some corns he can eat and some corns he cannot eat. Toto picks some corns because he is picky but Hattchan, I think it because of his tongue. Poor one. Hattchan eats wheats the most and hemp seeds the second. If he can get use to his not having tongue and can eat everything, he may be able to be released into wild... Since he saved his life, I would really love to release him into wild if it would be possible. It may gonna be a long way to go, but I do not want to give up. Keep it up Hattchan (I am sure that he is doing his best) Hattchan rampages when he can see outside. the vet suggested me to keep him in a cat carrier. He is in a cat carrier. I want Toto to sleep when the other pigeons outside are sleeping. So, I put him back in the cage, over his cage with a blanket by 18:00. I wanted to do the same thing to Hattchan, but he started eating little by little when it was getting dark outside. He finally went to bet at 21:00. He rampaged just before he went to bed.
BTW, these 2,3 days, Toto is perching on hid food box often. If he perches on it, his poops droop into his food box...
I spoke to the vet on the phone. She said he is still ill but getting better little by little. Oh my goodness. I am so relieved. My appetite came back. No more pij-diet. My cheeks sank in a bit since I rescued Hattchan. It would have been a lot better if my belly became smaller instead of my cheeks. I guess life is not that easy... Back to Hattchan. His scar is not cured yet. So, she said it would be better if she could keep him for 2 more days. I took her suggestion. I will save up money by spending less for food and use that money for Hattchan's medical fee. Indirect pij-diet.
I took some pictures of Toto today again. He was on the wardrobe and on the suitcase. He was interested in the little space between the wardrobe and the wall. The paper on the wardrobe is on his way today, but often, he sticks his head between the wall and wardrobe to check what's there.
